80% Unattended

My mommy group met at the Northside Aquatic Facility today so in an effort to do everything within my power to help Charlie enjoy the summer I decided to go and tackle it with both kids. 2 kids that can't swim, 2 arms, what could go wrong?

They have a shallow pool for the little kids so I was able to just walk around in the pool holding Annie while Charlie swam. Annie started to nod off so I went over and put her in her stroller thinking she'd pass out.

It's ok to leave a toddler unattended in a pool right? It was really shallow and I could almost see him for most of the time I was taking care of Annie so I'm sure it was fine.

Annie slept for about a millisecond so my little plan didn't pan out. Thankfully some of the other mommies we were with took a lunch break so I pawned the little one off on them and took Charlie into the big pool.

I included this picture just to show how cool the place was, we're not in it, just wanted a picture of the fountains and water slide in the official record (this blog is the offical record of our life...awesome I know).

After we swam in the big pool for a bit I forced Charlie under that fountain off to the left that looks like a jellyfish. Surprisingly he hated it so that was the end of our day, he just never really recovered after that.
Both kids are sacked out right now so I think that means they had fun. Little does Charlie know when he wakes up the fun is over and we're going to the dentist. He's going to hate it and refuse to open his mouth I just know it. At least he had a fun morning though...

When you go to the dentist just tell him to smile at the dentist since his new way of smiling is to open his mouth!! Tricky, tricky!! Good luck!

You would not believe how hard I laugh each time I read your blog. I just love it! And, Baker goes to the dentist next week - can't wait to hear how Charlie's adventure goes.
