I think I'm going to have to accept that it's here to stay. I've tried holding him front of the mirror and saying 'smile' so he can see what it looks like and he just isn't getting it. He watches Annie smile with her mouth open and hears all of us say how cute she is so why wouldn't he just do the same?

Annie's face seems to say, "I'm not sure what's wrong with him either..."
She's quite astute (and cute!) at her young age.
