Purple Pumas

Charlie and friend RC watching the siblings game before their game.

Playing on someones iPhone while they're out, this is something only very serious athletes do.
Post game huddle.
These pictures were all from last Saturday's game, you know, the game where Charlie scored a SERIOUS goal.  Not the kind where someone else kicks it, it bounces off his shin guard, and he gets the credit.  It was the kind where Charlie dribbles for a legitimate distance and kicks it hard into the goal.  These moments are rare for Charlie but when they happen the sense of accomplishment you see on his face are enough to make a mom cry.  Specifically, this mom cried.

Sadly, I missed this Saturday's game (ironically it's happening now).  Annie's game was scheduled for the exact same time so as a family we had planned to divide and concur.  This plan changed though when Annie started puking in the middle of the night.  Just like when this happened this summer, she doesn't really seem sick, she's been acting like her normal self all morning.  But to be safe we chose to sit this one out and spend the day watching Strawberry Shortcake and reading books.
