Yesterday afternoon all 4 of us hunkered down and made about 5 dozen sugar cookies. Matt and Charlie were on decorating duty while I did the mixing, cutting out, baking, and frosting. Annie didn't exactly help but she did clean up the sprinkles that Charlie dropped on the floor. Dyed sugar sprinkles are good for babies right? I'm thinking yes.
For fun: sad face.
Happy face.
This morning while Annie was sleeping Charlie and I went sledding and guess what? It was fun! I pulled him to the mailbox and back and then we did donuts in the driveway. It was sunny out and the snow was fresh and flaky. I think I had more fun than he did and I didn't even get a turn :)
It feels good to be a little less Grinchy for once. I think my heart grew 2 sizes today (can you tell we've been shut in watching Christmas movies for a few days?).
.
Oh and on a randomly random note Matt's friend Jonathan (to you CWU'ers that would be Woncha's son) that he grew up with in Ellensburg is on tour with Brett Dennen and is stopping by the Knitting Factory March 16th. So all you Spokanites should come on down and support a local artist making it big!

Good attitude soul sista! I had the same epiphany today. I'm supposed to be on call this weekend, but I decided I'll just fake like I'm sick, and enjoy the weekend.
I know it has nothing to do really with your post...but I love your apron! Ok, I'm a dork I know, but I like to say what I'm feeling...and I feel like I heart your apron!!!
Glad the grinch has gone somewhere else for a day or more!
Grinchiness is totally okay when you have come to terms with the fact that winter is hell in WA.
As for the rest, I'm digging your sugar cookies and wish you were at my house baking! the sad face makes me laugh :)
