Yesterday Charlie, Annie and I met up with our mommy group for a tour of Tomato Street. For whatever reason the restaurant let us come in for a free tour. It wasn't just any old tour either. It included play doh (made from their pizza dough), time to color on the table cloths, free pizza, free root beer, and a few prizes.
Let me elaborate on the prizes...
At the end of the hour the girls running the show asked a few questions and whoever raised their hands and got them right won a Tomato Street Frisbee.
The first question was how many pieces of pizza did you get? Charlie had his mouth full of pizza and looked at me and said 3. Since winning involved raising your hand I didn't think we had a chance. So I just smiled proudly to myself, just happy that he noticed how many he had eaten and figured that was good enough.
The first 3 kids called on got it wrong so I took matters into my own hands and held Charlie's hand up since I knew he had the answer and just didn't understand the concept of raising his hand.
When he was called on he actually answered (still with his mouth full - so the answer came out "th wee") and won the Frisbee! Hooray for Little Charlie!
