Charlie's school does things like Mom's Night where they invite the kids and their moms to look at art and eat Rice Krispy Treats. Charlie's profile is the one at the top, 3 over. The one with the killer eyelashes and sweet little cow-lick.

They also do something called Lego Club. Tuesday was the first meeting and the kids got to work in pairs to build a windmill. It was a really challenging Lego kit designed for kids ages 8 and up. You know my 7 year old killed it though.
The best part of volunteering at Lego Club for me (becausethisblogisreallyaboutme) was watching more than 1 kid ask Charlie to be their partner. More than 1! Nothing's better than knowing your kid is well liked! Not even Rice Krispy Treats on sticks.

Oh that is great they have lego club over there. My sister homeschools her four boys and the three oldest are all in national lego clubs where they travel the country for lego competitions. My oldest nephew's team beat the college kids last year from MIT. Needless to say, the older kids in the club got offered college scholarships! Yeah, legos aren't just for fun anymore, they are serious business!
