On day 2 we discovered the kids were tall enough to surf. My sister took a video of Annie doing it - she did awesome! Since she's so light she had a hard time staying in the waves but she gave it a shot and didn't cry or freak out when she bit it.

Silver Mountain
This weekend my parents treated us to a night at Silver Mountain. Their indoor waterpark has something for everyone - young or old.
On day 2 we discovered the kids were tall enough to surf. My sister took a video of Annie doing it - she did awesome! Since she's so light she had a hard time staying in the waves but she gave it a shot and didn't cry or freak out when she bit it.
No video of Charlie but I think he went 3 times. The best was when he stepped off the edge of the platform and the waves shot his little 44 pound body way up to the top. He just popped up though, no tears, and came back down for another try. So proud of my little surfer!
Charlie spent forever on this little ropes course thing. Everytime I watched him I dreamed of holding a foam shooting gun so I could blast him Wipeout style off the little moving platforms.
