Here's something weird: I had the same number in
Bloomsday 2009 as I did in 2011. Out of 50,000+ Bloomies how did I get the same number?

Here's something exciting: my dear, old (OLD 60!) Dad did Bloomsday with us this year! He did it with a pace of 14:37 per mile which is pretty great! Way to go Dad!
The clown on the left is my brother-in-law who finished in 1 hour 8 minutes (a pace of 9:10 per mile). He's a clown from now on.

Here's something about me: I had my best time this year (this was my 5th Bloomsday), 1 hour 22 minutes (11:02 per mile pace), but I'm mad about it. I've been training for a 1/2 marathon, which is coming up in 12 short days, so I thought this would be a breeze and it WASN'T. I had to walk some of it, which I wasn't anticipating.
On the bright side I'm surprizingly not sore, so the training must be helping a little.
Next year I'm shooting for an hour ten. You heard it here first.
Oh and I placed first among people with the
same last name again. Not because I got faster, because they got slower.
