Get excited: this post has pictures not taken from my phone on the fly. Matt's not home so I'm stealing the use of his computer for a few.
My Marmots did their 3rd Marmot March today (a 1-mile race through Riverfront Park) and it was the BEST ONE EVA! Charlie ran the whole thing and he ran it ridiculously fast. He and I finished in 16 minutes, which felt fast even to me and my legs are probably twice as long as his.
Our only mishap was when Charlie collided with a punk, teenager riding his skateboard through the park. They both fell and the skateboard went flying. Charlie was a little at fault because he wasn't running in a straight line and he kind of darted in front of the punk. HOWEVER. Why would you skateboard through a race of 250 kids ages 0 - 6 with roughly 500 parents running along side? There were cones...
Anywho. Charlie jumped up, brushed himself off and finished strong.
Fun.
