Ring Halloween

Halloween started with a trip to my office and a trip to Matt's office to trick-or-treat around the offices. Matt's whole department dressed up like a roller derby team, so he took Annie's Dora knee pads, elbow pads, skates, some of her Barbie band-aids and pieced together a costume.

The Green Lantern and Strawberry Shortcake each left the office circuit with a full bucket of candy. If it were up to me we would have called it a day at 11 am. Not up to me though.

Matt got home after work and changed from a roller derby guy to a rap mogul and took the kids out for another round of trick or treating.

This is their candy stash after I've already eaten enough to make myself sick of Baby Ruths, given the PayDays and Twizzlers out to the trick-or-treaters knocking at our door, and let them each have 2. We're talking way too much candy.
I'm trying to be a good parent and eat as much as I can to save them from a future of bad teeth and poor nutrition habits. That's the kind of loving parent I am.
