Back in '08 right after I had Annie our house got hit with the flu hard. My mother-in-law Cheryl came in to town to help me with the kids because between barfing and nursing the baby the 2-year old, who was also barfing, was also suffering from neglect. It's a long story but basically we got Cheryl sick too and she ended up staying for a few days until she could get the strength to drive home.
It was probably one of the worst weeks ever.
So fast forward to 2011...it's happening again. Cheryl came in yesterday to watch the kids so I could go to work. When she got here though Charlie and I were sharing a barf bowl. So she and Ken stayed all day and took care of the kids so I could sleep and barf all by myself.
Last night Ken went home and Cheryl offered to stay the night just in case today was just as bad.
I woke up this morning feeling fantastic. Phew, just a 24 hour thing. I walk in to the kitchen and there's a note from Cheryl saying she's sick and wants to be left alone (if you know her you know she said it nicer than that).
Awesome. Now our caretaker is down. That's what she gets for being nice to us.
Annie's been better for a couple of days, I'm feeling about 90% today and Charlie seems to be at about 75% so we're going to survive this one. Matt has managed to escape the sickness thus far. Hopefully I'm not jinxing him here.

Man, I haven't thrown up (from something other than a hangover) in years! Hopefully Matt will survive this outbreak and you guys can get back to normal soon!
