don't let the empty seats in front fool you

it was a packed house. I wanted to lead with that because the picture is deceiving.
So last weekend Matt and I drove over to Ellensburg to see our friend Jon play a show. He just released an album and is out on the road promoting it. Like the super fan that I am I had already downloaded it and memorized it before we got there. Super fan or super nerd? Fine line I like to dance.
.
Before and after the show we hit up an old favorite - The Tav. Back when I was in college in Ellensburg I didn't really like beer, which is pretty much all The Tav had at the time. So my friend Brooke and I would always share a carafe of wine (she was the only one interested in humoring me back then). But now they serve liquor! Oh and here's this: now I LOVE BEER!
.
I don't know why I'm writing about the random thoughts flowing through my head right now. I have about a million things to do before we leave for Disneyland on Friday.
.
I'll leave you with a final thought from Annie:
.
Me: Hey Annie, how many days until we leave for Disneyland?
.
Annie: I'm 2. And I'm going to go to the doctor and he's going to check my teeth. (big smile) And he wears grey. Did you remember I can climb up this big ladder?
.
Me: Yes but how many more days?
.
Annie: I'm 2.
.
This is my world folks.

I think I learned what the word carafe meant from drinking wine with you at the Tav. :) Since we're walking down memory lane, remember when I didn't show up for my breakfast shift at Tunstal because I was too hungover and you kept angrily calling me, trying to get my butt there? I miss the days when I could just pass on work when I was too hungover!

Um... you weren't the only one who had all the songs memorized before the concert. Kyle was singing along the whole time! I, too, was shocked at the whole liquor at the Tav thing. It was nice since I don't drink beer, but something about it just wasn't the same.
