getting away

This weekend we packed up the Swagger Wagon and headed over to Seattle for a little wedding/aquarium action. Matt's friend Alyssa from high school invited us to her beautiful wedding at the Arctic Club. Below are fellow EHS'ers Tim, Darci, Alyssa and Matt. In true Charlie fashion our little boy spent most the wedding and reception reading and doing puzzles.

Annie rocked the house like only Annie can by drinking apple cider from a champagne flute (so inappropriate and yet hilarious to watch).

And of course busting up the dance floor.

When Matt got tired of dancing with her she just worked the room and found other friends who would dance with her.

The next day we took the kids to the aquarium for the first time.

Our good friends Brenda and Jonas joined us. Such good sports. Not only did they not complain about having to pay an admission to a kid place just to see us but they got a speeding ticket on the way and they didn't complain about that either.

Thanks again for spending the day with us Brenda and Jonas and for dinner Sunday night! I think you may have inspired my husband to participate in the bbq'ing a little more - he loved your pork wrapped in pork creation!
