So.
I went to Kohl's today, the store with the greatest clearance sections ever. Charlie was at school. I had my mom and Crazy Annie with me (who ironically loves to shop but is absolutely terrible at it. I think when she says 'I go shopping!' what she means is 'Can I go run crazy in the store and make you look like a terrible mom who can't control her child?' If she had the words I know she'd say it.). So my mom helped manage Annie while I set out to spend my $20 Kohls cash that I earned by shopping at Safeway. Here's what I found:
- Boys snow pants for next year: originally $45, marked down 90% off to $4.50
- Fisher Price Little People set for filling Easter Baskets: originally $20, marked down 80% off to $4
- Fisher Price building set thing for Charlie's birthday: originally $20, marked down 80% off to $4
- Dana Buchman sweater for myself: originally $50, marked down 80% off to $10
Grand total: $22.48
less: Safeway coupon $20
total out of my pocket with tax: $2.70
My receipt actually says at the bottom you saved $132.50!
If my husband were reading this (I'm pretty sure he gave up on my blog months ago) he'd happily point out I could have "saved" even more had I stayed home since we don't need any of these things.
Since he's wrong and I DO NEED ALL THESE THINGS I'm going to continue to have a great day because of my great score this morning. Peace out.

Me love me so Kohls!! Great job!
I'm impressed and wish we had a Kohls. You are not Jewish, you are an accountant and know the value of a good deal! thanks for the squeaky shoes tip too :)
Good Job! I am impressed. I used a double coupon the other day, saved $2 instead of $1 and thought I was doing good, you smoked me!
so I have a 15% off your entire purchase coupon... you might have gotten more stuff! good work sister! by the way, does dad ever comment on the blog?
