I basically worked full-time for 3 weeks straight and somehow survived. I don't know how real full-time working moms do it. I'm ready to go back to my happy little world of 25 hours a week and not a second more. If fact I'm actually ready to give that up and sign my husband up for a graveyard shift somewhere. That would suit my lifestyle much better.
So I got out my camera thinking I'd find some real treasurers from the last 3 weeks and here's what I found: Annie drinking tarter sauce. (Matt had Veteran's Day off so he watched the kids and apparently fed Annie tarter sauce for lunch. Poor girl's going to have her mamma's waistline sooner than necessary.) I found a picture of the 3 of them enjoying one of our new couches we bought for the basement. Exactly what I wanted to spend my extra overtime money on: comfy seats for Matt to play video games in. yay
And I found Annie vacuuming with a duck.
Oh the other excitement around here is I've been sick. Just me. No one else. So not only have I been going to work everyday but I've been doing it sick. Last night Matt informed me the all night cough fests have to stop. He's been leaving the house at 5:30 every morning so he can get to work when the market opens. So apparently it's important that he gets some sleep. So naturally, rather than arguing that it's not my fault and I'm not choosing to cough all night, I just picked up and moved into the basement. It was actually the best nights rest I've had in weeks, I may just stay down there until I'm 100% again.
So that's the update.
We've got tickets for Disney on Ice this weekend so I'll try and be a good girl and take pictures to post. Until then...

I was hoping you wouldn't update for a few more days, then I could make fun of you too. sorry you are still sick!
Disney on Ice was awesome! Just be ready to tell the kids no you can't have that. They are crazy about hawking trinkets, souvenirs and $14 sno-cones.
Welcome back! Sorry you are sick.
