Fieldtrip to the Pumpkin Patch

Charlie's preschool took a field trip today up to GreenBluff to pick pumpkins. I usually work on Tuesdays but my mother-in-law offered to switch her babysitting day so I could go - yay! (I thought the interest shout out would be a nice way to show my appreciation - thank you Cheryl!)

The kids got to pick an apple off a tree, shine it up, and eat it while we walked around. Charlie's dropped about 4 times and somehow I was nominated as the official duster offer. My pants were not only covered in dirt when we left but sticky apple juice too. Yay? I liked this picture below because of Annie's little expression. It's like: who's going to cut and peal this for me?
Similar face but this time its: you want me to carry this heavy thing around for how long?

This is us on the hay ride. I brought my lame eye along for the ride. Turns out it goes everywhere the camera does.

And just for fun'zies I realized that today is Charlie's 1/2 birthday. I found this picture below of his first 1/2 birthday 3 whole years ago. Sheesh, time is fly'in by around here.
