"family weekend"

We spent the weekend doing some fun stuff around Spokane with the kids. Below is Charlie on the bumper boats at Riverfront Park. They've never been opened when we were there before so this was a first for little Charlie. Matt and Annie watching Charlie have fun. Matt = too big. Annie = too small. Oh and yes, I know Annie is missing a shoe. 1/2 of Riverfront Park mentioned it. We thought we lost it somewhere between the library and the park. Thankfully it turned up under the car parked next to us at the park so we have it now.

Sunday we went to the Shadle Park splash pad. The city just built this amazing pool next to it (complete with 2 water slides) and it costs all of $1 to get in. So since most of Spokane was here:

and had the place to ourselves. Well, it was us and the toothless guys using the water guns to shower with, but we had it almost to ourselves.
