The Boat Parade

On Saturday, in addition to the morning parade, we got talked into a boat parade around the lake. We were much more willing this time because it really just involved us sitting around on a boat drinking beer for an hour in crazy costumes.

Pictured below: Darth Vader, a couple of Princess Leias, a couple of Luke Skywalkers, and a little Yoda.



I talked our friend Matt Hepworth into being Darth Vader this time mainly so that I could sit around in Matt's old karate shirt (that his mom saved for 20 years for this reason?) rather than a hot, sweaty mask. For some reason he went for it.

I think that should do it for the 4th of July posts. Hope everyone had as much fun on the nation's birthday as we did!
