woo, woo

We went on a walk this morning at Manito and Annie was so fascinated with the ducks she couldn't take her eyes off them for one second to look at the camera.
She can't quack yet (or actually say 'duck') so she just looked at them and made her dog noise, which is kind of like woo, woo. Such a smart baby - she knew the ducks were animals and knew we encourage our kids to make animal noises whenever they see them (why do we all do this?), so she just went with one she knew.
.
On a side note she now knows: dada, mama, woo woo (for dog), oink (not really oink but I don't know how to type the snorting sound she makes when she sees a picture of a pig), sssss (for a snake), baaa, and her latest and greatest is...wait for it...banana! It's more like nanana but when you hear her it's so obvious what she's saying that it's practically regular English.
.
Oh and she makes a fish noise with her lips too that's super cute.
.
Oh and if it sounds like I'm bragging about my baby genius it's because I am. She's a genius and it just needs to be said sometimes.
