My marmots marched their little marmot tails off.

I wish I could have gotten better picture of the kids in their first race but they were just so darn fast I couldn't keep up with them. We switched off pushing Annie in the stroller so I did get a lot of shots of Matt and Charlie from behind.

I may have to file a complaint about their course though. It took us right by the carousal and the big red wagon slide. Once the carousal was in sight Charlie immediately started saying he was done running. I made him push on and finish though. We needed his blue ribbon for the scrap book.
.
Then of course us and the other 500 kids in the race headed over to the slide and the carousal at the same time. Fun times.
Oh and we've figured out how to do the carousal and make everyone happy. Annie and I sit on the bench...that doesn't move and is no fun whatsoever...and Charlie and Matt ride the horses.

So that was the big race. Charlie and I beat Matt and Annie because we stopped at the port-o-potty and didn't see them when we came out. Matt and Annie were pretty much last to cross the finish line because of our miscommunication...don't worry, Matt communicated to me very well when we did find each other in the sea of marchers how I shouldn't have ditched him. How was I supposed to know he was just standing with Annie behind the potties admiring the view of the falls?
