We bought seasons passes to Riverfront Park this year, which means all the carousal riding we can handle until Labor Day. It also includes the carnival rides and some of the
IMAX movies. I did some loose math and it came out to a pretty good deal.
So our first adventure was on Tuesday. Annie, who is always up for an adventure, screamed the entire time we were on the carousal. By the way, don't I look like a giant in this picture? I'm like the biggest
Russian tea doll and Annie is the littlest.

Then the other hater of the day turned out to be the husband. I brought him clothes to change into so he could just meet us after work and not be in a suit. I brought him jeans and a sweatshirt, and by doing do I ruined his life. In his defense it was 70 degrees out. In mine it was snowing last week, my mind can't keep up with the changing seasons around here.

So he chose to leave the sweatshirt in the car and just wear an undershirt. Man I wish he had a
wife-beater tank top on under his suit that day. That would have been so much more awesome.
.
I guess the lesson learned is that next time Matt and Annie just wait in the car while Charlie and I go enjoy the park. At least that's the lesson I think I learned. I possibly learned that I need to pack Matt 8 changes of clothes in order for him to have a good time, and that Annie doesn't like riding fake horses. Yeah. I think I learned those lessons too.

Matt looks like such a sad clown in his old man undershirt. :(
He looks so thrilled going round and round!
I eagerly look forward to reading your blog every morning when I get to work. Thanks for the awesome Friday morning laugh. Hugs to you. Have a great holiday weekend.
