Yesterday Annie had her 1 year appointment. Here's the stats:
Weight: 20 lbs even (31st %)
Height: 29.5 inches (63rd %)
Head: 17.5 inches (31st %)
Charlie was 21 pounds at his 1-year and he was weighed naked while Miss Annie got to keep her clothes on. So she's probably actually like 2 pounds smaller than he was at this age. The doctor was a little concerned with her smallness and lectured me on making sure she's getting meat everyday. They actually did an iron test (which was awful and involved a finger prick and a lot of blood) which came back fine so the smallness shouldn't have anything to do with the amount of meat in her diet. I think she's just a dainty little princess and the doctor should just accept that.

We got the ok to switch her to whole milk and to turn the car seat around. Today was our first outing with her facing forward and I asked Charlie twice if she was asleep. It finally occurred to me I could look in my rear view mirror and see her little blue eyes myself.
.
Yay for being 1!
