Yesterday we went bowling with Charlie's pre-school class. He kind of liked it. Kind of hated it.
The first ball he threw stopped half-way down the lane. One of the dads with us threw another ball at it to get it moving. I don't know if this confused Charlie on the whole point of what we were trying to do or if he understood what was even happening but it was pretty much downhill from here.
He like carrying the ball up to the lane but he wasn't all that excited about pushing in towards the pins.
Then on about the 5th frame he got it in his head that he wanted to be on lane 2. We were assigned lane 6 and I didn't feel like explaining to the old man on lane 2 that my son is used to getting his way so we'd be commandeering his lane thankyouverymuch.
So from that point on he pretty much refused the play. I carried the ball up to the lane and he would give it a slight shove towards the pins. By frame 10 I just took over (hence the 8 points - go me!).
