If you live in the Inland Northwest and have children (or just really want to get in the spirit of the season) you must make this journey. The boat ride is about 45 minutes and is a huge rip off at $15.75 for adults. However, it is free for kids and that's where the priceless'ness of the trip comes into play. I'd offer you a 2-for-1 coupon but it was in my purse....don't get me started.
Once the boat arrives at the North Pole Santa reads off the names on his "nice list" and magically every child on the boat is on it. Charlie noticed that Grandpa's name wasn't on it and found that quite amusing. Grandpa claimed he was simply forgotten...I had to work hard at convincing Charlie that Grandpa was probably on the other list. Sorry Grandpa.
After the reading of the list you get to enjoy the most fantastic display of lights in the world. I have nothing to back that statement up. I'm just trying to make a point that its a really great light display and is absolutely magical to young and old.

You couldn't even step onto a non-moving boat for $15 over here, so that sounds like a great deal to me! I'm jealous again this year - that looks like so much fun!
kids should know that grandparents are usually on the naughty list for spoiling their grandkids...let that be a lesson :) what's up the the "elf" behind the sleigh? scary.
