#1 It's going great. Every week he gets better at following directions and participating in what Miss Kim wants him to be doing. Yesterday he nailed the Wheels on the Bus song. Its so fun to watch him concentrate on moving his arms in a circle to imitate the wheels. He's awesome when it comes to the driver saying "move on back". Yesterday I caught him trying to teach Matt to put his thumb over his shoulder and say move on back.
#2 Yesterday the kids got to dress up and Charlie rocked the Yoda costume. He brought the light saber and was very careful not to hit the other kids. And when I said it was time to put it away and participate in class there was no fuss. No fuss! (I included this picture to show off Mario and Luigi. Fantastic handmade costumes by the boy's mom. If I only had the time...(I mean the skillz...))
#3 Bringing Annie to class has gotten much easier now that she sits. She also still loves to crawl all over the place but if I put her in the sitting position she stays put. She's happy just to sit and watch the action which makes it easier to help Charlie do all the activities.
#4 Our teacher, Miss Kim, is moving on to bigger and better things so yesterday was our last day with her. One of the parents who used to teach Kindergarten stepped up to fill her place until we can find a permanent replacement. Miss Kim was so great with Charlie that I hate to see her go. In this economy though you can't fault anyone for taking a better job when its thrown in your lap.

#5 Last little note worthy of the blog is that Charlie knows the other kids names! I just randomly asked him when we got home yesterday who was dressed up as a dinosaur and he said Aaron which was right! Then who was Spiderman and he knew that one too. I had no idea he was even paying attention to the other kids. He's just growing up so fast I forget to give him the credit he deserves most of the time.
