Why I couldn't bother to put pants on Charlie is strange even to me. We went on a walk this morning and ended it at a park with a splash pad. Charlie played in it, got his shorts all wet, and came home pant less...but that was a good 5 hours before I took these pictures.
Between Annie barfing on anywhere from 3 to 1,000 outfits a day and Charlie spilling food slash getting his clothes just generally wet and dirty I truly do about 8 loads of laundry a week. I think they're going to be pant-less more and more often as I'm getting pretty sick of it.
Oh and were we speaking of Annie? She's 6 months old now!
She's still the best little baby ever (if you forget about the excessive barfing which I will try to do thankyouverymuch). She rolls all over the place and can do a series of flips, tucks and rolls to get to where she needs to be.
Charlie has become such a sweet brother to her. The other day she was in her Command Center (the thingy pictured above) crying. Charlie came up to her and in a really soft voice he goes "It's ok Annie. I know. I miss her too." I melted hearing him try to reassure her that things would be ok. Then of course I cried a little because who were they missing? I was just in the kitchen. They may be spending a bit too much time with the Grandmas if they're missing them after being apart for only like 24 hours (Is it because the Grandmas don't know the word no? What else goes on when I'm not around that makes you guys prefer them over me?).
Anyways. Miss Annie is only 6 months old and I already can't really remember what life was like without her. Sometimes I feel like I blink and I miss something important. Speaking of...I think this rant is over. I'm going to go watch her sleep so I don't miss anything else!
Oh but wait. The Charlie talking thing is getting pretty fun. I gotta go off for a second. Here's a quick conversation from Friday.
Charlie: Mom! I found some money! I found 2 coins!
Me: Really? Where did you get them?
Charlie: I got them at Costco. They were $4.
Me: You paid $4 for 2 quarters?
Charlie: Yeah. At Costco. I'm going to put them in my piggy bank.
So #1: apparently any money he finds is fair game to stash away in his bank. #2: when did he pick up the concept that money is for buying things? Oh and #3: I guess I need to work on teaching him about a rip off. $4 for $.50 is not a good deal. Even at Costco.
