A fresh start.

Wednesday was Charlie's first day at his co-op preschool. He's in a class of 2-3 year olds and I think it's going to be a really great opportunity for him. The co-op part of it means I go too which is why I signed up for this - my little guy isn't ready to be away from me. Did I say little guy? I meant to say I'm not ready.

This is Charlie at snack time. I'm sure the flip off was unintentional since there's no way he knows what that means.
He had a great time playing with the other kids and even poured a little girl coffee at the play dining room table. She declared it milk and got a little in his face about it but he just called it coffee again and moved on. Good boy. No sense arguing over imaginary beverages. Especially sense he was clearly right.
.
Each week we're going to do an art project which will be fun for us since I tend to shy away from messy activities at home. This week we painted bears with Karo syrup and brown paint. The other kids used their whole hands to paint with...Charlie used 1 finger for about 2 seconds and then wanted me to wash it. Baby steps. We'll get there.
.
I think those are the highlights. We got back next Wednesday for more fun!
