He applied (and got in) to Gonzaga for fall quarter (which starts in just 10 days!). It was actually a pretty major process just to apply - letters of recommendation were involved, passing the GMAT (the entrance exam) was involved, submitting a resume was required.
He'll be going full time and most likely will be working full time as well. If it gets to be too much he's already talked to his company about working a reduced schedule and they seem to be on board for some reason.
So today we went down to the campus so he could familiarize himself with where his classes will be. I for one am happy to never have to go back to school, Matt on the other hand seems just giddy. I feel like I should take him school clothes shopping or something. Maybe I'll get him a new Trapper Keeper next time I'm at Target.
From the campus you can hop on the Centennial Trail and walk downtown, so that's what we did. Matt and Charlie hit up the big slide.
Annie slept. I watched.
Then they hit up the carousal and randomly enough we ran into my sister there. There was some kind of Indian Pow Wow event at Riverfront Park that they were trying to hit up and were stopping by the carousal for a quick ride.

This was the first time Charlie rode his own horse - which by the way he named Andrew (after one of his little friends). He named Matt's horse Mom...we'll assume he was being sweet and not dirty.
So I'm looking forward to having a happier husband, not really looking forward to being a single mom but hopefully the year will go by fast right?

Good luck to you Matt! Hating a job is no fun for anyone in the family, not to mention unhealthy! Here's to finding something better! Cheers!
How exciting, and good for you Matt! Life's too short to stay at a job you hate!
I love Andrew the horse and the idea of back-to-school shopping. Actually, I loved everything about this post. :) Good luck!
Wow, big changes afoot! I finally got my husband back after all of his years of schoolin' and I threatened annulment if he went for his masters right away. But this will be a good thing for all of you - good luck and God speed!
