We're leaving for Orcas tomorrow and won't be back until late Monday night so the 4 Ring Circus will be stagnate for a while.
When we get back I have to start working my 24 hours a week again (maternity leave had to come to an end sometime) so the posts will be less frequent and have less content as my time will be zapped up with worky work.
Hope everyone has a great 4th! I'll be spending mine as a new member of the Dirty 30 Club (b'day's on the 3rd). Sucky.
Birthdays aren't usually a big deal to me but I just hate the idea of leaving my twenties behind. I no longer feel like a "young mom" who "just graduated". I feel old and haggard and college was a really, really long time ago. Talking about it sounds even lamer. Drinking more than 3 beers consecutively isn't even cool anymore, when you're in your 30's people wonder if you have a problem (which I probably do since I talk about it so much). I'm sure I could think of even more stuff that yesterday was cool but by Thursday won't be but I've depressed myself and am thinking I should really sign off now.
Peace out. Enjoy the weekend. I'm going to try my darndest.

welcome to the 30's! i had a hard time with it too, especially being pregnant. but, then i realized that i won't even be 50 when the kids are out of the house! party time in 18 years!
Happy Birthday!!!
It's lame at first and then you realize that turning 30 really changes nothing. I think my 25-year-old husband keeps me young! (that's right, I said 25) It also helps that most of my co-workers are in their mid-to-late-30's and want to punch me when I complain about being 31
it ain't that bad, i promise!
Happy Birthday!!
I love being 29. :) Just kidding... I actually told someone I was 30 when they asked just a few days ago. It just came out. I guess I'm ready.
Hope the banana belt (isn't that what it's called?) gave you nice weather on Orcas. It's crazy stormy here.
