Catching UP!

This week Charlie has turned a major corner in the world of adventure. Up until recently he's been the most cautious little kid ever. Today he actually got on his little power wheels thing and rode it around the yard like it was nothin'. He got it 2 months ago for his birthday and has yet to touch it without crying. After dinner he headed out and mastered the rock wall on his playground. By the time I came out with the camera he was climbing it so fast it was like he'd been doing it for years.

He came inside and I washed his hands and I noticed a scrape on one hand. He saw me looking at it and said "what's that?". He's seriously 26 months old and just got his first major scrape. He's so the opposite of every other little boy his age it's amazing.
Anyways. Yesterday he climbed the rope ladder at the playground for the first time and today he went down the giant Radio Flyer slide downtown (sure he went down feet first on his stomach but at least he went down!).
It's been so fun to watch him try new things. Keep it up buddy - we're proud of you!
