My Little Rockers

I know these photos look very staged, probably because they are. Matt's great uncle Ken made each of the kids a rocking chair when they were born. I wanted to include some photos with their thank you card for Annie's so I made them sit side by side and try to act natural.

Charlie probably sits in his chair everyday and reads his books. Would he sit in it for me to take a picture? Heck no.

If only I could get in his head and understand why this was such a big deal. Eventually he came around though and sat down for one quick pic.

Annie sort of looks like an old man in these pictures to me - all bald and confused looking. In hindsight I should have put a bow on her or something. I guess that's a normal look for a baby.
