Version 2 mostly revolved around the ball crawl. Below is the Thomas the Train ball crawl we bought Charlie shown with the 50 balls it came with. Once Matt got it blown up on Christmas Eve we quickly discovered 50 wasn't going to make Christmas magical.
An "emergency" trip to
Wal-Mart before closing solved that problem. 350 should do the trick.
All the
hassle was worth it though when Charlie came out of his room Christmas morning. His eyes lit up with excitement at the sight of Thomas.
My brother Pete and his wife Vanessa stayed the night on Christmas Eve, they were good entertainment in the morning.
The rest of my family came over around 9 and spent the rest of the day with us. Pictured below is my dad with his dog Samantha.
After everyone left Charlie started really investigating all the new stuff he got. Thanks Char for the new "pack-pack". Charlie loves it and wore it around telling us he was going to "work".
Now for the most dreaded part of the season...cleaning up and putting all the Christmas stuff away.

I am glad that matt made the trek to walmart. Thomas the train definitely needed it. I know Caden thinks so too. Thanks for sharing the ball crawl with Caden. He really liked it!
